Mauritius Destination

The tiny volcanic island of Mauritius, anchored off the south east coast of Africa amidst the cerulean waters of the Indian Ocean, packs a big punch when it comes to spectacular beaches and stunning scenery. Lush green hills and swaying sugar cane plantations form the backdrop to wonderful resorts, and form a natural playground for activities and adventure. You’ll also find championship golf courses, blissful spas and excellent waters for diving, particularly in the north of the island.

Explore the island...

Wild Colours Tour

Enjoy breathtaking vistas of the green slopes around the extinct Trou-aux-Cerfs volcano; visit the sacred Hindu lake of Grand-Bassin, with its towering statue of Shiva; admire the magnificent flora and fauna of the Black River Gorges National Park, where spectacular waterfalls cascade down the cliffs; and gasp at the seven coloured earths of Chamarel, a mesmerising geological phenomenon.

A cruise along the coast

Cruise the north coast and enjoy breathtaking vistas of Mauritius from a different perspective. Sail to Flat Island and walk up to the lighthouse, on a hill and the only high point on the island, or relax on the beautiful white sand beaches and snorkel in the island’s crystal clear lagoons.

Casela Nature & Leisure Park

Nature lovers and thrill seekers will love this wonderful park in the west of the island, home to a huge variety of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, zebras, monkeys and giant tortoises. Explore the park by quad bike, buggy or Segway, enjoy a bird’s eye view from the zip line, or get up close and personal with the majestic big cats.
