The Saint Lucian's Soleil Summer Festival is back! This is the Caribbean's biggest summer festival, comprised of five unmissable festivals from January through to October 2018. From culinary delights, reggae, rum and live Jazz performances in some of the most spectacular locations in Saint Lucia. SAINT LUCIA JAZZ FESTIVAL
When? 06 - 13 May 2018
This is one of the Caribbean's hottest events of the year. A perfect opportunity to see some Jazz Greats at some enchanting venues, with events all over the country. Performers include Carolyn Malachi, Alfredo Rodriguez, Luther Francois, Zara McFarlane and so many more, all celebrating Saint Lucian, Caribbean and international jazz music. The Finale is particularly spectacular, which takes place at the Pigeon Island National Landmark.
SAINT LUCIA CARNIVAL
When? June - July 2018
Saint Lucia Carnival is an explosion of colour, rhythm and creativity. Steel drums, feathers, food and dancing fill the streets. Some of the events that are not to be missed include the Calypso Tents, Calypso Monarch and Carnival Parade. This is the ultimate Carnival to immerse yourself in Saint Lucian culture and dance the night away.
ROOTS & SOUL FESTIVAL
When? 31 August - 02 September 2018
Dedicated to the musicians who are breaking the mold with new styles of reggae, conscious hip-hop, Afro-punk and R&B. Much like the Saint Lucia Jazz festival, there will be various concerts around the island, bringing together musicians from all over Saint Lucia.
ARTS & HERITAGE FESTIVAL
When? 01 - 31 October 2018
This Festival is dedicated to Saint Lucia's rich cultural heritage. What started as Creole Day back in 1981, a now month-long festival celebrating everything Saint Lucia has to offer. Music, theatre, seminars, culinary experiences, street parties and art exhibitions are just some of the experiences in the calendar. The festival ends with a final celebration on the last weekend of the festival (28 - 29 October 2018) within each community.
